International organization that promotes women's rights worldwide and fights against exploitation and trafficking. Office in Manhattan. Good resource for articles on what is being done on a prostitution law reform, media stories about trafficking and other information.

ECPAT-USA

Works to end child prostitution and trafficking. Based in Brooklyn. Offers multiple opportunities for volunteers.

Equality Now

Works to end violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world through the mobilization of public pressure. International NOG, but with an office in Manhattan. Good resource for how to get involved; also offers internships.

Free the Slaves

Good resource to learn about all forms of slavery, not just sex slavery. Has a section on the different ways to get involved and make a difference. Based in DC but has a national reach.

GEMS

Locally focused organization provides housing and support to NYC girls and women who want to leave commercial exploitation and sex trafficking. Based in Harlem. Offers various opportunities for people to get involved.

Nomi Network

Partners with the garment industry to create jobs and a business market for at-risk women as well as former sexually trafficked victims in Southeast Asia. Based in Manhattan. Welcomes volunteers and offers internships.

Christian-based organization provides holistic long-term support and after-care to NYC victims of sex trafficking. Based in New York City. Offers many opportunities for volunteers.
